As pointed out by Milan "Striker" Švejda, it's unclear how this might affect teams in Counter-Strike, where Valve have taken a clear stance against the partner systems of previous years.

That's according to Complexity general manager messioso.
The Monterrey event can be found here with no public invites confirmed just yet. The event is able to use the old definition of wildcard for their invites.
